Welcome to WEM, Ablaze‘s flagship Secondary School programme

As face to face WEM sessions can’t take place at the moment due to COVID restrictions, we have developed our resources to allow the programme to be delivered online. The first virtual WEM (VWEM) programme will start in early 2021 and we will post updates on our news page and on Twitter. We intend to restart our face to face programmes as soon as the COVID situation allows.

We all need a little inspiration sometimes. With positive volunteer mentors from local organisations, West of England Mentoring (WEM) is helping students aged 12-15 raise aspirations, follow their interests and make plans for the world of work.

Would your school or your business like to get involved? We work across Bristol, North Somerset, South Glos, Wiltshire and Bath & NE Somerset. Contact us to find out how you can take part.

WEM is managed by Ablaze Bristol, an independent charity tackling inequality of opportunity for young people on the West of England. For further information on our other programmes, please visit our Ablaze website.
